Different types of diet

There are a lot of different types of diet that people using all around the world.

The Paleo diet

The Paleo diet is a natural way of eating, that abandons all intake of sugar, and the only sugar comes from fruit.

A paleo diet consists of fish, vegetables, sweet potatoes and nuts.

The blood type diet

The blood type diet some doctors have started to research diets that coincide with particular blood type. The premise of these diets attempts to match people with their common dietary needs based on their blood type.

The vegan diet

The vegan diet eliminates meat and animal products. These diet reduces the intake of cholesterol and saturated fat. All the people that practice this diet minimize coronary heart disease.

The Mediterranean diet

The Mediterranean diets avoid a lot of meat. This diet has been proven to help with depression and it recommends the use of oil as much as possible as an alternative to butter.

The south beach diet 

The south beach diet is based on the premise of changing one's overall eating habits. It doesn't eliminate carbohydrates, but it educates on which carbs to always avoid. 

                              Healthy food and Junk food


Eating a healthy food that includes lots of fruit, vegetables can help you maintain a steady weight. Having a good variety of these foods every day leaves less room for foods that are high in fat and sugar. 
A well-balanced diet provides all of the:

• energy you need to keep active throughout the day.
• help you to stay strong and healthy and help yo prevent diet-related illness.

Healthy diet are made up of legumes, fruits, vegetables and likely to get enough of the nutrients, like fiber calcium and potassium. 

Unhealthy diets are high in fat, saturated fat and added sugar. These diets contain fast foods that don't contain nutrients. Junk food contain ingredients that can damage your health. Trans fats are used in many fast food restaurant and in many prepackaged food such as cookies and cakes. The reason you end up paying more for fruits than for a product like macaroni and cheese is because the food industry prioritizes packaged food.

Globalization

Globalization is a process of integration amount the people and companies. This process has effects on the environment and on culture. Globalization exist to thousand of years, and corporation have been buying to each others in lands at great distances.


All these are supported by technology because is one of the principal driver of globalization, and it has transformed economic life.



It's only through globalization that people move freely across the world. People, thanks to technology can share ideas within some minutes through the internet, which has facilitated communication and connectivity.

Another driver of globalization are the multinational corporations but sometimes they are also affected by globalization in ways they may or may not like.
These effects on a multinational can be good or bad,depending on the nature of the corporation in question.

Globalization has positive and negative effects:globalization has resulted in the formation of multinational and the concentration in specific geographical economies has led to investment in new geographical areas, where market competition is very high.
There are also negative effects. The climate are now a serious problem for the future of the world, all because of globalization.

Due to globalization, most global economy jobs are temporary. The impact is mostly felt in developed countries since the can outsource cheaper white collar and manufacting jobs. Globalization gives business access to market that would have been difficult to reach in the pass.

WTO= The world trade organization is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nation. They operates aglobal system of trade rules.

            The house that Jane built


Jane Addams was a little girl that lived in an elegant house in Chicago. When she was six years old she understood that not everyone lived like her so she vowed that one day she would in a horrid little house and she would find a way to fix the world. 
She loved reading and she also graduated but when she finished school she didn't know what to do with her live and after a month her father died.
After two years she went to London with her friends and she saw a lot of poor people that had nothing. So she decided to find a place to help poor people, a settlement house like Toynbee hall. Jane find the perfect house in Chicago in one of the wort neighborhood in the city. So she bought this house and called it Hull House to thanks the mistress. She opened the house and she decided to leave Hull house unlocked for all the people.

In the house it didn't go always very well bat Jane find always a solution. In the house there wasn't running water to bathe so she created a public bathe. She created also a playground for children and during the morning she started a kindergarten. That house changed the life of million people and today in America there are a lot of community and thay have Jane Addams to thank.

                               STORY ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD

I was only ten years old when my family and I went on holiday in Cattolica. In those days, during the week of Ferragosto, there was people everywhere . One day we decided to go to the beach and after at the restaurant. The beach as full of people but we found a little place. Suddenly when I was going to the toilette with my mum I didn't see her. I was really worried because I was in trouble. But I heard the voice of my mum screamer my name so I immediately found her and  continued my holiday!

              What a fright!  

It was a hot day of August when my family and I went to Ditellandia with my aunt and my  cousins. It was a very funny day and there was a lot of people. So my sister and I decided to have a bath, but my sister was only 7 years and she couldn't swim. When we were  in the pool we were having fun but suddenly my sister starts screaming because the water was so deep and she was unable to go back near the edge. So the lifeguards save her. My mum was really worried and at last it was over  I breathed a sign of relief.

                              The dangerous driver

When I got on the bus, it was very crowded and I couldn't find a seat, so I sat down near the driver. It was a very sunny day and it was so hot and in the bus there was a smell. While the driver drove, he was talking at phone maybe with her wife. The two were discussing about their wedding and the only thing that I heard was that his wife wanted to separate. Suddenly the driver starts screaming  and I was very scared because he was driving very fast and dangerously. So I decided to talk with him and asked him to lay the phone and drive in a safe and quiet way. After that I breathed a sign of relief and the driver thanked me because he didn't realize of what he was doing.

                    Everything is well that that it ends well

 It was a beautiful night of summer when my father collapsed. My family was at my grandmother's house. They were talking all together and suddenly my father fell to the floor. When it happened I was eight years old but I went out with my cousins so I wasn't there. My family was really worried so they immediately called the ambulance. In the end when my father arrived to the hospital the doctor told us that he had a heart problem but with a simple surgery everything would be okay. It was a very worrying night!

                        The undertaker

When I opened the gift box I found a book about the undertaker. At the beginning I was a little bit scared about that book because it was a vary weird gift.
After that, in the days after my birthday, I started reading "How to became an undertaker". When I opened that book I heard some crows sing, but I didn't care about it and I started reading. When I finished that nook I realised that when it was with me it brings me luck, and when it wasn't with me bad thing happened to me.
In the end I finally realised that it was a magic book because alol the time that I read that book the crows song and it brought me luck. Than book belonged to a victim of an accident that lived near my house but I don't know why that book was in my gift box!

                                      LADY DIANA

 Diana was born to an aristocratic family and her family links with Royal Family because her father was a direct descendant of Charles II. Diana doesn't shine as a student, but did well in music and ballet. When she was working as a part-time assistant met her future husband Charles.
In 1981, Diana married Prince Charles and during their marriage they had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. But in 1980 the marriage broke up leading to a divorce in 1992. During this period Diana suffered various health problems such Bulimia and depression . Diana took part in official engagement and her natural sympathy was much admired. She was photographed with a victim of AIDS  and this was important to change the attitude of the disease. Diana remained very popular because people could identify with her.
Diana died in 31 August 1997, in a car crash involving Dodi Al-Fayed. There are still mysteries about her death but probably the driver was under the influence of drugs and drink.

                    A person who inspires me: My cousin

 My cousin inspires me everyday. Her name is Nunzia and she's 23 years old and she attends University but she already has a degree. When I was a child I was always with her and she taught me a lot of things. She's very intelligent and generous, but sometimes she's very nervous and too serious. She always worried about me and when I have a problem I ask her for help because for me she's a sister. 
She spend a lot of time in church because she's an animator and 
and from a few months she become a  diocesan person responsible. What she does inspires me because of her I have found the world of ACR and other things. 
I love everything she does, her lifestyle, her personality, and one day I'd like to be like her .

                                           Valentine's day cards

Valentine's day was created at the end of the 5th century by Pope  Gelasius I. Many people believe that the origins of Valentine's day was born with the feast of Lupercalia a fertility festival. But many people believe in St.Valentine, a bishop who wrote to his inamorata a letter signed "from your Valentine" , the first Valentine greeting. In the past there was a lot of poems, romantic letters and in the 18th century the first Valentine's cards. They were  decorated handmade with romantic symbols, flowers, love knots and sometimes lines of poetry, and this cards were slipped under a door.
During Victorian age these cards became very popular and they were circulated in London and many Victorian Valentine's cards are kept at the Museum of London.
Now there are a lot of types of Valentine's cards: some of them are funny and others romantic and sweet. There are a lot of images, funny designs and funny phrases.

                     "The perfect palace"

Thousands of years ago, there was a King that lived in a big palace. His people loved him since he looked after their needs well. At the end of every month, he would invite some noblemen of hid kingdom to analyze his work and advised him.
The king built many things. Every year he would rebuilt his palace and everytime it looked better than before.
One day  the King thought "This year I will built the perfect palace, with all the comfort. It should be praised not only my kingdom, but also by the people of the neighbouring states".
The next day, the king worked out a perfect design for his perfect palace and in about a month, the perfect palace of the King's dream was ready. The King invited noblemen of his kingdom to get their opinions about the palace.
"Unbelievable! It's a perfect palace" cheered the noblemen.
But a saint standing in the corner was silent.
The king wondered why the saint was silent,  when everyone was praising his palace. He walked up to the saint and said "Please tell me why you are silent. It not my perfect palace?"
The saint replied in a calm voice "Dear King! Your palace is strong and will last forever. It's beautiful but not perfect, since the people living in it are mortals. They are not permanent. Your palace will live forever but not the people in it. that is why I am silent. Man is born with empty hands and so he die".
The King thanked the saint for his wise words and never tried to built a perfect palace again..

                       Angelina Jordan

Angelina Jordan is a Norwegian singer and she lives in Oslo with her family which includes a younger sister. She has previously lived in other countries, including the USA. She won the 2014 season of Norway's got talent, singing classic jazz pieces. Her performances went viral on YouTube and she also realized a personal ambition by performing, in 2014, at a Nobel Peace Price concert.
In 2014, she performed "Fly me to the moon" on the US TV show The View. When she sings she performs barefoot because when she went in Asia she met a poor girl and Angelina gave her shoes to the poor girl.
When she was just nine years of age, Angelina authored her very first book, making her the youngest published author countrywide.

                                             The legend of mistletoe 

This legend talks about the Goddess Frigga, the Goddess of love and her son Balder, the God of summer sun.
One day Balder dreamt of his death and told his mother about the dream. Frigga was very worried for her son but also for the life on Earth because without Balder the life on Earth will be over.
So Frigga asked for help to every being in air, water, fire and earth to promise her that they will never hurt her son. But Loki, the God of evil knew that Frigga forgot a plant, the mistletoe.
So Loki made an arrow and put a spring of this plant on the tip. Then he deceived his blind brother and he pulled the arrow in the face and Balder immediately died. But Balder was revived only by Frigga. Her tears on the plant become white berries and she blessed it and when someone was under the mistletoe would never be harmed and they had to give a kiss.
