Angelina Jordan

Angelina Jordan is a Norwegian singer and she lives in Oslo with her family which includes a younger sister. She has previously lived in other countries, including the USA. She won the 2014 season of Norway's got talent, singing classic jazz pieces. Her performances went viral on YouTube and she also realized a personal ambition by performing, in 2014, at a Nobel Peace Price concert.
In 2014, she performed "Fly me to the moon" on the US TV show The View. When she sings she performs barefoot because when she went in Asia she met a poor girl and Angelina gave her shoes to the poor girl.
When she was just nine years of age, Angelina authored her very first book, making her the youngest published author countrywide.

                                             The legend of mistletoe 

This legend talks about the Goddess Frigga, the Goddess of love and her son Balder, the God of summer sun.
One day Balder dreamt of his death and told his mother about the dream. Frigga was very worried for her son but also for the life on Earth because without Balder the life on Earth will be over.
So Frigga asked for help to every being in air, water, fire and earth to promise her that they will never hurt her son. But Loki, the God of evil knew that Frigga forgot a plant, the mistletoe.
So Loki made an arrow and put a spring of this plant on the tip. Then he deceived his blind brother and he pulled the arrow in the face and Balder immediately died. But Balder was revived only by Frigga. Her tears on the plant become white berries and she blessed it and when someone was under the mistletoe would never be harmed and they had to give a kiss.

           DR. CHAU CHAK WING BUILDING


The Dr. Chau Chak Wing Building is Frank Gehry's first building in Australia and he designed it because the building will open a new page in business education in Australia. 
The tower is named like this one because is the name of the person who donated $20 million for the construction. 
The construction of the building started in 2012, it was topped out in 2014 and official opening in 2015. 
The business's school provides teaching, learning and research and the building's design is based on the idea of a tree-house structure. The building was constructed by Lend Lease Group.

            THE LIGHTHOUSE OF ALEXANDRIA

 The Lighthouse of Alexandria, called Pharos, was built around 250 B.C.E to help sailors. It was high about 400 feet and it was one of the talles structures in the ancient world. It was destroyed by earthquakes around 1375 C.E. Alexandria was situated to became a major Mediterranean port but sailors found difficut to avoid rocks when approching Alexandria's Harbor and so they built the lighthouse and they took 40 years to build it. The lower part held governement office, the middle section held balcony where tourist could sit, the top section held the fire that was continually lit to keep sailors safe and at the very top was a statue of Poseidon.

                       ADAM PEATY

  Adam Peaty is a british swimmer and he's a breaststoke specialist. When he was 14 a friend took Peaty in a swimming pool but the coach wasn't impressed by him and so put him in the slow lane with younger girls. And so he decided to try harder to swim and started training full time, but he isn't in ony team.
Peaty made his first traveling team as a junior swimmer in 2012. In 2013 Peaty competed in his first senior international competition and he went best times in all three breastoke  events. And two years after debuting at the senior lever, Peaty represented Great Britain at the 2015 World Championship. He partecipated to the Olympics with the 100 metres breastoke and he arrived to the semi-finals. I like him because he's very young but he's strong and because he never given up and I admire him.

                            EDUCATION IN TURKEY

Turkish education is under the control of the Ministry of National Education. Education is compulsory from ages 6 to 14 and free in state schools.
School start with pre-school education that is a optional kindergarten from 3 years to 6 years. Then there is primary education that is compulsory and free education for eight years from 6 years to 14 years. Then there is secondary education from 14 years to 18 years but some schools have an other year of language study. This school provide free education. the last is higher education and you have to 4 years of university or 2 years at higher Vocational schools and you have to do Master's study lasts 2 years. In Turkey  there are a lot of high school like Public High school, Private high school and Anatolic High school.
This sistem is different from our because in Turkey there isn't middle school but there are eight years of Primary school. The Secondary school is the same and also the higher education is the same.

                        INVICTUS GAMES

The Invictus Games is an International Paraolympic-Style created by Prince Harry. The people that are involved are mother, father of husbands that suffred because of injures that have changed their lives. 

The inaugural Invictus Games took place in Londdon in 2014 and the second Invictus Games took place in Orlando in 2016. In this games people who have injured take part in the sports like sitting volleyball, indoor rowing or basketball with wheelchair. 

Bebe Vio is an italian paraolympic champions of fencing without arms and legs. 

Theese games have shown the best of the human spirit.
